Nature is amazing!
It always amazes me to see trees like this – they can be so resilient
Survival is about the ability to adapt. These birches are very old and seem to have the bility to cling to live and continue to grow in the harshest of environments. I think some of these trees arelike bonsais, they grow from seed that falls in rock clefts and are pruned by the wind, but the roots are so deep that when they get blown over they continue to grow. Beautiful and inspirational.
Incredible what growing up in a harsh environment can do! … Round here they grow straight and fall over quick as storm * hits them.
It’s tough in the north!
Amazing how it hangs on and looks so well on it.
