These rocks are so symbolic of how insignificant we are in the overall scheme of things
Not even the twinkling of an eye. They are also strangely ephemeral, only appearing on years when the storms remove megatons of sand from the beach.
Must be fascinating to see their disappearance and reappearance…

I think so too. the colours are amazing and they have a wonderful smooth texture, somehat unexpected in such hard rock – must be millions of years of abrasion by the sand.
