    • I feel very privileged to have orchids on the croft and eagerly count the number of spikes each year. Definitely more this year, but I’m hoping that I can find frog orchid in one of the wetter bits. I’m optimistic but may be deluded!

    • The orchids are one of the main features of the machair and are particularly good this year.
